Bermondsey chef breaks world record for longest tiramisu

A chef and restaurant owner from Bermondsey, Leonardo Mastrofilippo of Cafe Amisha, led a team that broke the world record for the longest tiramisu at 440.52 metres last weekend. The project involved over 100 Italian chefs working for 14 hours to create the record-breaking dessert, which used 800 litres of coffee, 19,000 eggs, 1,500 kilograms of mascarpone, and 150,000 sponge fingers.
