US Dollar Index holds steady after Fed hold, traders await US GDP and PCE data
The US Dollar Index (DXY), an index of the value of the US Dollar (USD) measured against a basket of six world currencies, currently trades near 98.95 during the Asian trading hours on Thursday. The DXY steadies following a hawkish hold from the US Federal Reserve (Fed). The US central bank on Wednesday kept the key interest rate in a range between 3.50% and 3.75%.
