Gerry Conway, the influential comic book author who co-created characters like The Punisher, Ms. Marvel, Firestorm, and Power Girl for DC and Marvel, has died at 73. Conway battled cancer and made his last convention appearance at CCXP in Brazil in December. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige praised his writing, calling it 'hugely impactful across comics and inspiring onscreen adaptations like Spider-Man and Daredevil.'
