Smokey Bones on Miller Lane in Vandalia has closed. The closure was permanent, with a sign posted on the door. Around 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, employees cleared out the building. This closure is part of a nationwide shutdown of Smokey Bones restaurants following the parent company, FAT Brands, filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in late January.
